Treehouse Masterpiece

posted in: Blog, Family, Hearth & Health, Rural Life | 11

Last week the children announced that their treehouse was ready for viewing and they wanted me to come down to the bush to see their progress.

For several days the children had been heading into the bush with ‘seconds’ of the decking timber, to refurbish the old treehouse, so I wasn’t too sure what to expect.

Certainly not this beauty! Masterpiece built by Michelangelo (13) and Princess (11)!!
Many, many happy hours are spent playing down at the treehouse.

Creating childhood memories.

Enjoying life in the bush.  Well done Michelangelo and Princess, a masterpiece indeed!!

  5. Fantastic job! Are you going to put up a barrier?

  6. By the way, one of my grown sons recently told me that we didn't have enough good "climbin' trees" on our property–and he was a real tree-climber as a boy, so he missed having them right near our house. It looks like your lucky ducks, on the other hand, have plenty of trees perfect for climbing!!

  7. Amazing … well done kids. Will there be a house warming party? … lol
