Wattle Gum Curriculum Year 6 History – Seven Little Australians & Counting

In Year 6 our History focus will be: Australian History and Ancient Britain

We will look at life in Australia from 1900 to the waves of refugees
We will consider the experiences of all; First Nations Peoples, the early colonists and the new migrants.
We’ll be looking at life in Ancient Britain from 43 – 410 AD
We will look at Early Medieval Britain from 410 – 1066 AD.
Encourage your child to ask questions about people and events.
Nurture their interest in History.
