Treasured Moments (16)

Do you find yourself falling into a pattern of daily grind, skipping the ‘fun’ activities because you don’t have time or lack energy?
Do creative arts, nature walks, drama, read alouds or spontaneous acts seem only a distant dream in your life?

Yet these Treasured Moments shared with loved ones uplift us, nurture our soul, remind us of the beauty and joy in our lives.

We want Treasured Moments for ourselves, for our children, for our families but how can we make it happen?

… Commitment … Encouragement … Support … Ideas … Plans.

I invite you to join us every Saturday and share your plans and ideas, your targets and goals and your stories … your ‘Treasured Moments’. In this way we may inspire one another, encourage ourselves and start achieving our dreams.

Yes Treasured Moments is back after such a long hiatus.  After posting my Word for New Year’s I realised re-committing to Treasured Moments would be ideal in encouraging myself in my commitment to Savour, Treasure and Enjoy 2011.

1.
Sitting outside watching my little ones play on their new slide and trampoline mat.

2
Talking books with my teenage daughter, listening to her enthusiasm.

3
Being woken daily by Jack Jack at dawn, with “Mum, mum, it’s morning time, wake up’.  For some reason this amuses me.

4
Cooking with my younger girls, enjoying our new ‘Christmas’ mixmaster together.

5
Snuggling with Jelly Bean reading her favourite picture books.

6
Jem’s emerging vocabulary, he says ‘sorry’ in the cutest way and highly amuses me when he calls me ‘big mumma’.

7
My ongoing ‘correspondence’ with my three oldest boys. I posted a sign on the study door regards computer time and they posted an amusing reply.  We have be ‘writing’ back and forth for a few days now, the door is covered in ‘correspondence.’

Sewing for my youngest girls, they are eagerly keeping me company.
