50% of people who get tattoos later regret doing so. Interesting, chatting about this with our children. We have a friend who is a dialysis nurse and she says the heavy ink tattoos which are quite popular in our country town and which often cover a large percentage of patients’ bodies, makes it hard to find a vein. More food for thought.

So why am I thinking tattoos anyway? Well I was thinking of getting one.. okay not really. Last week I had a localised cancer removed from my arm, resulting in six stitches. My younger children find the sight of the stitches a little too much to look at. Joking around I suggested we tell people I had a tattoo cut out. A little research however informed me tattoos are lasered off.

Our children often make us laugh, really they are very quick and quite witty. They have their Dad’s sense of humour that’s for sure and living for so long with all of them I occasionally get there:)

Talking PC, gee I love that man, head over heels, madly, passionately in love with him. Just saying. God sure has blessed me.

Lent begins next week with Ash Wednesday, if you’re searching for books, I have a few suggestions listed under Lent/Easter

Endeavouring to be more conscious about my posture. I’ve gotten in some bad habits whilst nursing the baby, and when sitting at the computer. Secret is, if I pull in my lower back all else aligns into place. Posture is something we’ve always been conscious off, particularly being tall ourselves and with tall children. “Shoulders back, straighten your back, hold yourself tall” is something we’ve long said to our children (and ourselves) Poor posture isn’t good, not only does it scream low confidence, but you’re setting yourself up for back problems. Stand tall, be proud!

Jen’s 7 posts in 7 days challenge has once again been a stretch, but a good stretch really. Rather amazed at myself as I have already written my next post and it is scheduled to publish early tomorrow!
