I’ve started a high protein/low carbohydrate diet. I’m not planning on being fanatical but I certainly am being strict with processed cereals, bread and biscuits. I’m feeling more energetic already:)
I have also started exercising (thanks to my commentators for their support) In a bid of support the Commando and Co are back in my life. They have formed the Yummy Mummy Tummy Builders, complete with cheer chants and the Biggest Loser theme songs. It is all very amusing.
Changes happen as your children move deeper into their teenager years, you know this theoretically but now we know in practice. Carpenter has started a job; assistant groundsman at a local Christian school. This means less time for other activities and more travel for Mum;)
It’s PC’s birthday on Sunday. I’ve been birthday shopping. I’m afraid I’m not very clever at present buying, I always feel as if I fall short. Not that he ever says.
It’s our second week back at lessons, our first full week has been productive. The children have worked well and we are steadily getting back into a rhythm. Not all books have arrived but that is fortuitous as we can slowly introduce new products as they arrive.
I’ve tweaked a little from the first week, more a matter of logistics. I am making certain to spend the first half an hour with Jelly Bean and Jack Jack. We read picture books and have a quick phonics lesson. They then feel loved and are happy to play:)
Rate of progress on extensions is amazing! Have I said how proud I am of my husband? Oh I have! Well it bears repeating:)
