Treasured Moments (9)
Do you find yourself falling into a pattern of daily grind, skipping the ‘fun’ activities because you don’t have time or lack energy?
Do creative arts, nature walks, drama, read alouds or spontaneous acts seem only a distant dream in your life?
Yet these Treasured Moments shared with loved ones uplift us, nurture our soul, remind us of the beauty and joy in our lives.
We want Treasured Moments for ourselves, for our children, for our families but how can we make it happen?
… Commitment … Encouragement … Support … Ideas … Plans.
I invite you to join us every Saturday and share your plans and ideas, your targets and goals and your stories … your ‘Treasured Moments’. In this way we may inspire one another, encourage ourselves and start achieving our dreams.

I had a lovely time pushing my younger ones on the swings. We have a huge swing set constructed by PC, built to hold 4 adults at a time. So I can easily push three at a time.
Being outdoors, looking at our beautiful bush; chattering with my little ones, enjoying a different pace. Its all great:)

Twice this week we headed down to our river, only 4 minutes away. We met up with some dear friends, nearly half way between the two homes. Avoiding the hot times of the day, we enjoyed watching the children swim,
and slide down the sand banks, explore the paddock,
and hang out of the tree like monkeys.
Good fun, great memories, fantastic friends.

Went into town with Koala to attain her Driver’s License. Just her and I (and the baby), it all took some time, but what a beaming girl when she passed. We headed off to buy an ice-cream to celebrate, ’cause my “baby girl is all growing up.”

Jack Jack and I spent time cooking chocolate chip muffins together. He loves this time with me, and I love listening to his observations of life. We are always guaranteed a bit of extra company at the end; Jem gets rather excited when it is bowl scraping time.

Congrats to your daughter! It so sad they have to get older. I don't know you ladies with more than 2 kids do it all.

What a wonderful list! Thanks for hosting Erin!
The photo with the kids in the tree reminds me of that delightful scene in The Sound of Music when Maria has the Captain's children jaunting around Salsburg (sp?) in their new "drapery" clothes!!!
Thanks for sharing!
