King of the Ranges

Description

The story of Joey, an orphaned kangaroo who must learn to fend for himself in the Australian bush.  Joey’s mother is killed before she can fully impart to him all that knowledge that bush creatures need in order to fend for and protect themselves. Joey goes through many challenges – attack by men and by dingoes, capture, gunshot wounds – before he comes to rule his fellows, and by a hard-won victory over a rival animal, becomes King of the Ranges.
