Treasured Moments (5)
Do you find yourself falling into a pattern of daily grind, skipping the ‘fun’ activities because you don’t have time or lack energy?
Do creative arts, nature walks, drama, read alouds or spontaneous acts seem only a distant dream in your life?
Yet these Treasured Moments shared with loved ones uplift us, nurture our soul, remind us of the beauty and joy in our lives.
We want Treasured Moments for ourselves, for our children, for our families but how can we make it happen?
… Commitment … Encouragement … Support … Ideas … Plans.
I invite you to join us every Saturday and share your plans and ideas, your targets and goals and your stories … your ‘Treasured Moments’. In this way we may inspire one another, encourage ourselves and start achieving our dreams.

We started ‘Traveling Around Australia’ via a picture book unit study. It looks promising and we are rather excited:)
2
Reading Beatrix Potter books with Jelly Bean. She loves to read Beatrix Potter over and over again. Fortunately I love to read Miss Potter’s books too.

Every day Michelangelo, Princess and I enjoy reading Bible and Virtue stories. We have been rather consistent all year and have read a surprising amount. Treasured Moments are, when Princess relates a daily situation to her virtue stories and makes godly choices. I can tell this time is so valuable:)

I had a talk with each child regards an irregular family situation and had such beautiful responses.

Snuggles on my lap every morning with my two little boys. The house is quite and it is just the boys and I awake.

Dear Erin,
I love those snuggles with the little ones. I hope they are feeling better.
Are you going to keep us updated about your tour around Aus?
God Bless
Erin
Planning to because of course I am adding to it;)

Thanks for hosting this meme Erin!
Here's a ditty we learned about Australia some years back when teaching the Continents:
Between the Indian Ocean and the Pacific Ocean…there is the biggest island and the smallest continent…it's to the south of Asia…down under the equator…it is the biggest island and the smallest continent…the central plains are called the outbacks wit their sheep and cattle stations…the aborigonies were the first people in this nation…with six states and two territories, kangaroos, koala bears, the biggest island in the world's AUSTRALIA!
