Gyprocking Commences!

Over the weekend we began gyprocking the bedrooms.

The children contributed with a great team effort.

They threaded the battens up through the ceiling cavities.

Marking and laying out,

they then screwed the battens on.

It was rather a time consuming job, meanwhile PC and I began the gyprocking.

Each sheet had to be measured and cut

and then glued and screwed into place.

Prior to this we lined each wall with insulation.

Our efforts were concentrated on these three bedrooms.

We had hired a gyprock hoist to help with the ceiling sheets, making the job so much easier.

Three bedrooms are now completed!! So very exciting:) Stay tuned for what tomorrow will bring;)
