Hearts For Home: August 4th
In my weekly ‘Hearts for Home’ post I am encouraging myself and others to commit to thinking about what 4-6 things we can do each week to bring our thoughts, prayers and actions to keeping our ‘Hearts for Home’.
1
To successfully manage some of my afternoon activity plans with the children.
I’m referring to the creative arts here; they always seem to get pushed to the side, yet that fun, creative, nurturing part is important.
2
Recommitting to my internet/phone resolutions.
Made a tiny progress last week, I’ll be better this week.
3
Speak to my teenagers as their friend not their mother.
Relationships progress best this way.
4
To find joy in the little things.
Taking time to ‘smell’ the roses. I spent time lying in the hammock on the weekend. Great perspective.
Please consider joining in and supporting one another in our vocation. I look forward to meeting you at Cherished Hearts for Home.

Great list and I'm right with you on that first one! I too, tend to push the creative part of lessons aside sometimes…let's keep each other in mind as we both strive to improve here shall we Erin? THANKS!

I'm trying to think of a practical accountability program and I think a few others may be interested. I'll let you know the details when I work them out.
