Treasured Moments (25)
Do you find yourself falling into a pattern of daily grind, skipping the ‘fun’ activities because you don’t have time or lack energy?
Do creative arts, nature walks, drama, read alouds or spontaneous acts seem only a distant dream in your life?
Yet these Treasured Moments shared with loved ones uplift us, nurture our soul, remind us of the beauty and joy in our lives.
We want Treasured Moments for ourselves, for our children, for our families but how can we make it happen?
… Commitment … Encouragement … Support … Ideas … Plans.
I invite you to join us every Saturday and share your plans and ideas, your targets and goals and your stories … your ‘Treasured Moments’. In this way we may inspire one another, encourage ourselves and start achieving our dreams.
1
Finalising Sacramental Preparation with Michelangelo and Jelly Bean. Please keep them in your prayers; on Tuesday Michelangelo makes his Confirmation and Jelly Bean her First Holy Communion.
2
Taking seven of the children to the hairdressers in preparation for the Big Day. A first ‘real cut’ for some. The excitement on the girls’ faces was a joy to behold.
3
Jack Jack begging me to lie with him as he went to sleep. “I’ve got lots to tell you Mum.”
4
Laughing over a certain child’s confidence. Man he is cocky, so amusing.
5
Seeing the effort taken, and quality of Anna Maria’s first assignment.
6
Carpenter’s excitement when his team made it through to the Grand Finals.

Erin, I hope you have a wonderful day of celebration as your children receive First Holy Communion or are confirmed. Will the sacraments be given at a homeschooling camp or other special function? Tuesday doesn't sound like a parish day!

At the camp:) Our Bishop comes and has the day with us. Some of my children are in the choir, some serving as well.
