Treasured Moments (4)

Do you find yourself falling into a pattern of daily grind, skipping the ‘fun’ activities because you don’t have time or lack energy?

Do creative arts, nature walks, drama, read alouds or spontaneous acts seem only a distant dream in your life?

Yet these Treasured Moments shared with loved ones uplift us, nurture our soul, remind us of the beauty and joy in our lives.

We want Treasured Moments for ourselves, for our children, for our families but how can we make it happen?

… Commitment … Encouragement … Support … Ideas … Plans.

I invite you to join us every Saturday and share your plans and ideas, your targets and goals and your stories … your ‘Treasured Moments’. In this way we may inspire one another, encourage ourselves and start achieving our dreams.

1
Princess, Michelangelo and I read butterfly books and started butterfly lapbooks. I enjoyed watching the children chase butterflies in the sun.

2
Lots of reading happening:) Faith reads with Michelangelo and Princess regularly. History reads with Michelangelo. Australian Nature reads with Einstein, Michelangelo and Princess. Rabbit trail reads with Princess. Picture books with the little ones regularly, often achieving my ‘3 books a day commitment.’

3
Played lots of games of boggle with the children and PC throughout the week:)

4
Practiced for the homeschool concert; the children searched for costumes and we played various tracks of the musical and they all sang and danced around the room. Lots of fun and laughter.

5
Played ‘Geography Quiz’ in the car traveling into town on Friday and sang songs in the car all the way home. Continued singing at home.

Bonus
I observed and journaled on Wednesday and truly I believe I have created a Treasured Memory. I looked at our life through different lenses and I was uplifted.
