    Can you believe we are half way through Lent already!  I thought I’d share a Mega List of Lent/Easter books, updating with my star reviews, do realise that reviews are rather subjective.  Talking stars, one reader shared that she doesn’t appreciate my stars as her mind doesn’t categorise like mine, my mind tends to organise so I find the stars useful even for myself. So what’s the verdict from the majority, do you appreciate the stars, or do they irritate you?     Our Growing Lenten/Easter Book Collection

    Lenten/Easter Books

    During Lent and leading up to Easter we read a lovely collection of books. Every year I add a couple of new titles so we enjoyed some new ones as well as old favourites. I thought I’d share here.   The Little Rose of Sharon’ by Nan Gurley is a beautiful story of sacrifice. About a rose who gives up her most prized possession (her lovely petals) to save a baby dove. The illustrations are beautiful.
