Treasured Moments (24)
Do you find yourself falling into a pattern of daily grind, skipping the ‘fun’ activities because you don’t have time or lack energy?
Do creative arts, nature walks, drama, read alouds or spontaneous acts seem only a distant dream in your life?
Yet these Treasured Moments shared with loved ones uplift us, nurture our soul, remind us of the beauty and joy in our lives.
We want Treasured Moments for ourselves, for our children, for our families but how can we make it happen?
… Commitment … Encouragement … Support … Ideas … Plans.
I invite you to join us every Saturday and share your plans and ideas, your targets and goals and your stories … your ‘Treasured Moments’. In this way we may inspire one another, encourage ourselves and start achieving our dreams.
1
Gardening in the sunshine with our girls. Pushing our little boys in the wheelbarrow.
2
The children’s total excitement with a surprise gift of another dune buggy!!
Watching the children tearing around the yard and bush in the dune buggy. All are cool and compete drivers, totally impressing me from the nine year old through to the 17 year old. The younger ones love being passengers.
3
Riding with each child in the buggy as they enjoyed trying to thrill mumma tearing around the bush. One nameless child is a little scary;) Finding my own inner speed demon as I tore around the bush;)
4
Having the great privilege of taking Jelly Bean to her First Reconciliation. Such a privilege and joy as a parent to assist your child in their Faith journey. Special, special time.

I had been writing and rewriting this week's blog entry, but not happy with the tone of what I'd written. Still, I wanted write something today … something positive.
Then I read your post and was inspired. THANK YOU!!

This is a nice sentiment. I frequently feel like I need to put more into my parenting but rarely find the time! A bit of planning wouldn't go astray I suppose!!!

Beautiful moments! Thank you for sharing 🙂 I've been trying to allow these to happen more often – they are the moments to treasure and who cares if there are dust bunnies everywhere?

Life can get in the way of moments if we aren't deliberate, to catch those snippets of joy. btw with 4 littles ones you are doing a FANTASTIC job!

I often remind myself, the children won;t remember the dust bunnies.
