Hearts for Home: June 30th
In my weekly ‘Hearts for Home’ post I am encouraging myself and others to commit to thinking about what 4-6 things we can do each week to bring our thoughts, prayers and actions to keeping our ‘Hearts for Home’.
1
To be gentle in voice and action.
My children are precious and sensitive.
2
To be really present for my children.
To stop what I am doing and be available.
3
To re-commit to ‘Little Kids Time’.
(This is what my 5yr old calls it;)
To read, work and play with our under 5s so their needs are met.
4
To respect my teenagers as emerging young adults.
To ensure that they know how proud I am of them.
Please consider joining in and supporting one another in our vocation. I look forward to meeting you at Cherished Hearts for Home.

Erin,
I especialy love the last one. Is this in relation to what we talked about with older children relationships?

I think these are fairly typical needs for a large family of spread out ages.
