He’s Off To The Seminary
I’ve alluded a couple of times to some BIG family news. Well….my little brother Kieren is joining the seminary:) I’m sure you can imagine just how happy and excited we are for him, and how very proud we are that he is answering this call of God; to go forth and discern his vocation.(Kieren is 2nd on the left, and yes these are all my brothers) At this stage he is not certain which seminary he will be joining, but for certain it will be soon. We would be thrilled if you could keep him in your prayers.

Cherished Indeed
Late May found us; Jem and I starting on our trip South to our dear friends Gae, Stephen and family; PC accompanied us as far as Sydney. We spent the night in Sydney with family and meet our new nephew Shaun. Actually PC had already met Shaun but I hadn’t and of course to see big sister Aimee, and Paul and Leanne. He is a gorgeous baby, younger than Jem by six weeks but heavier by 3kgs. (Jem is on the right) Sunday afternoon found us flying to Tasmania, this was my first time to the state. Truly to my surprise I felt rather discombobulated rather as if I was…

Please Join Me in Prayer
I am begging for prayers for my dear friend Gae at Cherished Hearts for Home. If you could would join us in praying a nine day novena starting on the 13th June, Gae and family would be MOST grateful. For three years Gae’s husband had been working interstate and has only been able to fly home on some weekends. During this time Gae has had two new babies and truthfully it is SO difficult in many respects for all members of the family. If only they could sell the house and reunite this family of 13; living in a state of limbo is not helping. On the 22nd June they…

Mothers Day – And Chomper
Sunday we celebrated Mother’s Day and I had such a special day; I truly felt treasured:) The morning began with a mad dash out the door to get to 8am Mass, therefore I had time to only open one present, just in time to wear it to Mass;) Imagine my surprise as we approached the highway and I saw this: All Saturday the shed resounded with sounds of the saw and I was under strict instructions not to approach. I am so thrilled with my new mailbox, last week the mailman placed book parcels in my box and they got wet! Twice!! I instructed Carpenter to go down and remove…

Our Journey North.
What a wonderful, busy weekend. We traveled North to meet our new little nephew, Anthony Michael (he’s a cutie) and to attend his baptism. PC and I were privileged to be Anthony’s godparents. This was in the Traditional Latin Rite and was incredible. All of my brothers (bar one) and sisters were there, and Monette and Michael’s parish community stayed to celebrate. The Latin Mass community there is awesome. The amount of young families is incredible, the noise during Mass was loud! It was so wonderful. I spent all Mass praising God for the ‘music’. When I attend St Luke’s I know that the Church is alive and growing. We stayed…

Jem is 6 Months!
Our darling babe is 6 months today. Truly this time has flown, if only he stayed a wee babe for longer. Already he is crawling, eager to be in the thick of any action. A very happy baby, chortling and talking away, doted on by all.We love you, our precious one.

The Mulberry Bush
Today when the mailman arrived he was besieged by eager children who have been waiting all week. Wow! It took two children to carry the box in. Just imagine the excitement as the children dug deep. Each vying to see which sizes fit whom. My Aunt Michelle owns a clothing boutique, The Mulberry Bush in Perth and so generously sent a bundle. Princess couldn’t stop smiling:) There were clothes to fit all. For the baby up to size 14. The excitement ran high. All week Princess has been asking when her dresses would arrive. Finally they arrived. And she was able to wear them. All were smiling. Michelangelo insisted on…

When Fully Grown
Over at Faith and Family we found a fascinating link. A height predictor; taking into account both parent’s height, the child’s weight and current height, an estimate is given of how tall the child may be. My children have thoroughly enjoyed entering the figures and seeing just how tall they may grow. No surprises really, all the boys are likely to be 6ft 2-3inches, the girls are predicated to range between 5ft 7-10 inches. It was great fun.
